A raw average of hourly pay rates for job summarized in this row of summary view data. The raw average is based on the total number of job rows summarized, irrespective of how many FTE these rows represent.

A minimum number of jobs must be summarized in a row of data in order for this field's value to contain an average. The minimum number depends on the value of the LEVEL_CD field in the row (i.e., depends on whether the row summarizes Campus, Control Unit, Division, Department, or Discipline/Group level data), as follows:

• Level 1: minimum of 10 jobs must be summarized

• Level 2: minimum of 7 jobs must be summarized

• Level 3, 4, or 5: minimum of 5 jobs must be summarized
